Will it fit?
Will an L-54 blade/plow fit on a 1960's Cub low boy? It's currently on our 1951 F Cub but we have it for sale and wanted to know if it will fit in front of or below an interested buyer's cub lowboy. Thankyou in advance

Re: Will it fit?
The L-54 was made for the LoBoy. If you're unsure that's what you have, you can click on TM Tractor at the bottom of the page. The "how to hook up implements" pictures shows both version and the differences in parts.

As Bob said the L-54 is made for the Lo-Boys, but it will not mount below the belly due to the lowered stance of the Lo-Boy.

Re: Will it fit?
The easiest telltale sign that you have an L-54 blade is the pivot for the blade on the front mounting bracket is mounted to the FRONT of the mounting bracket. On a 54/54A blade the pivot is mounted to the bottom of the bracket.

Re: Will it fit?
Well that's odd. My Dad's Cub has the bracket on the bottom, with no provisions to bolt it to the front like that...

Re: Will it fit?
Your dad evidently has one of the earlier style Cub-54 blades.
