pitman board spring hole

Postby brewzalot » Sun Aug 14, 2016 9:33 pm

I cant get to any of the links for the pitman board dimensions...my (now broken) board had the hole for the spring deep enough that the spring was bottoming out against the first bolt. Is that correct or is that too deep ?

That is the only dimension I need for now, but if anyone knows a place to view all the dimensions I would like to take a peek.

thanks-Tim

I measured an OEM and the hole was 1 1/2" deep. That leaves about 1/4" of wood between the spring and bolt hole.
