The IH carb would have been original. IH switched to the Zenith with the numbered LoBoys and as a replacement carb. Edit: the early 154 had the IH.

I expected the one wheel weight to have been on the right side with the wheel dishing selection as described. Figured it was the "keep it from tipping left as easy" arrangement. Then I see the picture and I guess it was somebody that didn't finish dishing the wheels out because they couldn't get the first wheel weight back on. Should have read FarmallCub.com for some hints on installing weights. :D

Hi,
Here is a page from the Cub parts book showing the Zenith carburetor. It shows the engine serial number when they started using them. I think it was in 1975. :)

well this is not a 1975 for sure . But they had many ,I saw eight Farm alls on the property only wanted to sell the one, some were grew up in woods . I did see a late model square hood setting there, so may have came from it . The old Grandpa (82) was working one a Super A had three taken apart I offered help in exchange for extra parts He said he would call me so all ways there is hope Billy :{_}: :{_}: :{_}:

Congrats on your new acquisition. Can you read the serial tag and determine the model year?

Was the square-nosed one a long stripe?
