I'm sorry to report that the "Carol Elizabeth Cub" and I will not be traveling to Cubarama this year either  The price of gas for the 8+ hour one-way trip is just too much!

I really do think that more regional CubFests would give more Cubbers a chance to meet each other...why heck...I might even host one here in Loudon, TN (near Knoxville, TN) next year if I'm still outta gainfull employment!

SORRY Jamie & John...Dennis & BigDog... John @!# and George, Karl and Kathy... any many, many more! Maybe next year? :?

All of those that are unable to attend, for any reason, will truly be missed. It just is upsetting that something as what use to be simple fuel prices can cause changes in our plans. Dennis, Bigdog, Cub-Bud or who ever has the resorces is more then welcome to do live pics and postings from the show. I have a place set aside under a pavilion with electric and you guys are more then welcome. Maybe this can tide a few of you over until new year. Or if anyone is able to change their minds and make it at the last minute, you are still welcome to come with out pre registrations.

Jamie:

Em and I are buying our 649 and Super 7 tickets... we got at least 6 draws before Cub-a-rama. If we win, count on it, we are coming..... :!:

At least then, Gas Prices will not be an issue...

Count on it

Then we will go to Cub-a-rama and maybe get a Cadet to play with toooo

The lotto is pretty big. Some big ones in the last little while. Sure be nice. But, I look at it this way...

I pays me buck, I gets a smile when I check the ticket. If I win a free ticket, or a dollar or two, I am ahead of the game. Ifn I don't, I got my money's worth of enjoyment....

Any other way of lookin at it from my perspective, is just wishful thinkin...
