Since Earl has remade the tool he has discovered that it will not work on a Cub tank without modification. The mod does allow the tool to work. It appears however that the tool will work on tanks on othere models such as my H and possibly later S/N lowboys. The mod should not effect use on any other tank.
Has anyone out there ever actually used the tool on a Cub tank? If so did it work or was there a problem?

Bill, Earl and I tried the tool on all my cubs and the H. I believe as it is, it would de-form the tank neck or wedge itself down onto the stubby neck of the cub tank. The modification Earl was considering will solve the problem and it will still work on other tanks.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
