Bypass Block & Auxiliary Hydraulics
I'm looking to add an auxiliary hydraulic circuit to my F-cub and am in need of some help. I'd like to make my own bypass block since I want to try to route the lines a little different than stock. That said, does anyone have the dimensions of a standard block OR can someone lay one on a piece of paper and trace it out? I'd like to add both front and rear hydraulic hookups so that I can add power angle to a snowplow and use the transport disc I built a few years ago. Thanks!!

cjpenny, a dimensioned drawing would be awesome if you would: mkirsch@rochester.rr.com I'd appreciate it. I have a friend with a small milling machine in his basement.
TnT, if you don't get the bypass port locaiton right, the hydraulic fluid can't get to where it needs to go!

I've noticed that the factory block has a tapered/triangular end on it that isn't used for the Cub. I'm guessing that's why on alot of the self made blocks I've seen, that part is not there. Did IH make this block to fit other tractors? Super A??... And perhaps those tractors use the triangular end?? Thanks!!!

RudyO, Ive been seeling these blocks for a couple of yrs now and I've never yet seen one put on the Super A. However it is my guess you are right. We started making a cut down block just for the Cub as most will never see another tractor. I'm a thinkin IH was being clever in saving cost by producing one block to fit both sizes of touch controls. The original has 2 set of mounting holes plus other working ports that are not used on the Cub. It seemed logical to taylor the block just for the Cub as thats were 99.99% of the market lies.
