Did a little repair on the hood where the metal was missing. Had to put the hot wrench on the light brackets, I don't think they been moved since 1947.

Thank you. It has been broken down where the bolts are. I may try to repair it with a little metal on both sides and reinstall it, I don't know yet.

I found out years ago the best way to clean glass lenses and glass gas bowls is oven cleaner. Let them soak, scrub with toothbrush (not the wife's unless your looking for a divorce) and wash em off. Oven cleaner will get most of the stuff off, it amazes me especially on gas bowls. Makes them look like new. May have to repeat 2-3 times to get it all and please do it in a well ventilated area!
