I just knew 'give it a whirl' was going to turn out very well. Excellent!

Fantastic job! I like the square-count screen you used.

I've often thought of how neat it would have been to walk through the IH factory and watch how these Cubs were made and all the operations that went in to fabricating the parts. Fascinating.

Thanks again for taking the time to chronicle your progress. We thoroughly enjoy it! :tractor:

I wasn't 100% satisfied with the top fitment of this grille and it also had a small crease in it on top so I cut the top off and redid it. Should be painted soon. Here are some before and after photos. The before photos have the 2 welds visible on the top.

Powdercoater just happened to be running red today, drove the tractor over and bolted it on for the ride back.

Here's the one I ordered last year compared to the one I made, and after adjusting the one I ordered the best I could I wasn't satisfied with the fit (big gap at top) and also wanted smaller screen like the early '47's had so decided to make it myself. Pretty satisfied with the outcome. Top 2 pictures are one I ordered bottom 3 are one I made. With the fresh powdercoat the holes are noticeably smaller which is what I was after.

Arnold is ready to go home after the first makeover. Got the hydraulics on, fast hitch, front wheel weights, grille, late style universal mounting frame with no grease fittings and front receiver that I copied from Bill. I also made one of my old style lift rods into the later style for the fast hitch to attach to.

I've got a similar problem with Rocky's lever,

Powder coater fused it together. How would you recommend getting this repaired?

My fault, forgot to take it apart.
