Put a dab of loctite on them and pressed them in with the arbor press. And there you go, fixed all 4 of my stops for both Cubs for $1.83, it does help working in a machine shop

Got the hydraulic lever put back together and installed. I guess this is the first bolt through this bolt hole ever for the hydraulic lever. The friction disc was missing, got a new one from TM Tractor, that was fun compressing the spring and getting the keeper back on.

Started on the TC block. One of the holes was a tad wollered, got that fixed.

Redrilled the hole and made a helper spring bracket and welded it on. Did this on our other Cub and it works great. I know the later ones had the bracket and a larger O.D. shaft but in my case you use what you have and be happy.

Figured I'd clean what I could off of the TC housing before disassembling it to keep more junk out of it. Looks like someone had automatic transmission fluid in it.

Stanton made one, you can probably find it with a search. Steiner also carries a less expensive one.

I bought the screen from Steiners, and Bob McCarty had one of the $60 ones from TM. At the Bash, we compared the 2 screens. The Steiner screen does have the internal reinforcing mesh like the more expensive one. The consensus was that it looked like a good substitute and.costs half!
