Flamethrower Coil ?

Postby Luke470 » Sat Jan 30, 2016 3:38 pm

I seriously consider going to the electronic ignition and the flamethrower coil. Do I want the oil filled or epoxy filled coil? Also what's the part number? The cub has already been converted to 12V and it's negative ground.

Thanks!!

1442 and oil filled. Pertronix actually recommends a 28,000 volt ag coil, #28010, but 40,000 volts can't hurt!

Boss

Come on now Boss, which one is gonna impress your buddies more when your talking about your new upgrade. "Yeah guys, I put an IC14SB coil on there and that thing starts before I even get my boots on before I go to plow snow!" I don't think so.

(I'm with you though :D I'd rather keep the $25)
