WERE TO START?

Postby superc_1 » Mon Aug 22, 2005 2:58 pm

:D SATURDAY MORNING @ 6.45 AM JETHRO WAS REBORN (I'M SURE I WOKE A FEW PEOPLE UP). I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EACH AND EVERYONE WHO HAS TAKEN TIME TO RESPOND TO EACH POST I HAVE SUBMITTED THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS. A SPECIAL THANKS TO DONNYM WHO HELPED OVER THE WEEKEND. ANYBODY WHO HAS REBUILT AND RESTORED THEIR CUB OR ANY THING THAT TAKES TIME, PRESISTANCE, AND MONEY KNOW THE JOY, ELATIONS,AND SENCE OF RELIEF YOU RECIEVE WHEN IT COMES TO LIFE FOR THE FIRST TIME. NOT ONLY DO I HAVE A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THAT WILL LAST AS LONG AS I WILL, BUT A OLD FRIEND THAT I KNOW I CAN COUNT ON AND HE CAN COUNT ON ME IF HE NEEDS SOMETHING FIXED OR ADJUSTED. WHEN YOU SIT UP ON TOP OF THAT RED LITTLE TRACTOR THE WORLD SEEMS TO GET A LITTLE EASIER AND NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE IN A HURRY AS THIS WORLD WOULD LIKE YOU TO BELIEVE. I BELIEVE IT'S CUBTIME.
No matter where you go, there you are.

When I fired the Cub up I think I was more shocked than anything. It quickly went to ELATED. When I dumped it off the trailer and mowed a couple of acres without a hitch I was THRILLED!

This board was an endless supply of advice and encouragement during the many months I spent working on it.

Yesterday I had a couple of options.... go fishing or mow.

Superc1, Isn't it just a wonderful feeling? Congrats and to a happy CUB future?

Buzzard, Very impressive photo, at the start I had to look for the Cub, looks like you've got a braken problem like us out in one of the "fields".
Does bracken over your way smell like seaweed the day after it's cut?
best wishes to you both and all the others on the Board
Pat
