154 LoBoy tire pictures: The space at the point the white block is inserted is about 3.5 inches. The curve of the fender at the top clearance to the tire is 3 inches. At the bottom of the fender/footrest the clearance is 4 inches. If the curve of the fender was eliminated there would be 4 inches top to bottom. It might be possible to take a little more off the sheet metal and move the fender in even farther. These pictures are with the std one piece rims turned to the widest setting and 8.3 x 24 tires, don't know how this would work out with the 2 piece rims. Stan

Mine have the fat tires and spacers to keep the tires from rubbing the fenders, but there is no room between!--well maybe a finger width! thanks; sonny
