So Clint, we have all been waiting for several days now for you to tell us about the spark plug and the stuck/unstuck.
Certainly by now you pulled the hood and got serious, come on, brave the 5 degrees and get busy.
Have a great weekend, I just gassed up all my Cubs just to put the cheap(er) gas some where, but I have not any fired up for a month.
Let us know how it's going.
Thackery.
See you at the Bash.

Re: Brought home #4 today...
Haha, sorry. Yeah, the hood came off last weekend and the spark plug was out soon after. A deep socket and brute force got it. I didn't like what I saw down those holes, though. Rust and crud beyond what I would think is acceptable. I sucked out whatever loose debris I could and sprayed a bunch of PB blaster into each cylinder. It's still stuck. Whenever I go out there I rock it a bit in third hoping it'll come free but no dice yet. I have yet to remove the valve cover and check things out there. It's a good thing I don't need this thing to run anytime soon. I think it'll be a while.
I've been pushing snow with my uncle's 55 (the one I had at the Tug in '14) and I started the other two a couple weekends ago when the weather was a little more inviting. The three that run run well. I don't know if you noticed my other posts but I seem to have Spring and "farming" on my mind. I'm sure I'm not the only one around the forum feeling that way.
Hope the winter months are treating you well, Thackery! It'll be Bash time before we know it.

Congrats on your find! If you're interested in networking, send a PM and I'll send you my phone number. Doesn't look like you're that far away (I'm in Lewis county).

It's been a busy few years Don, but I hope to have some "Cub time" this summer.

Welcome back John.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thanks, John. It looks like I got this Cub somewhere right between your neck of the woods and mine. PM sent.
