Actually, you can call them up and subscribe and specify whether to start with the current issue or the next one.

I believe that when a magazine publishes an article they have the copyright on it.

Yeah, it isn't that simple. if you ever see a copy of one of my articles that I scanned from of the magazine, you should see "Copyrighted Material Complementary Copy not for resale" added somewhere on the first page. Beyond that. I won't go into copyright details.

By the way, a lot (but not all) of what is in the article can be found on this site, but probably not in one thread.

Red Power is a GREAT magazine and would be worth the cost at twice the price. There's way, way, way, WAY more to IH than Cubs. (Although they are well-represented in every issue)

The bad thing about the article in Red Power Magazine is I will not get mine till sometime next week. :( I think our magazines/newspapers come by ox cart.

I want that article, so I went to Redpower and it looks like I can't do it online. It appears that only check or money order will work. Is that correct?

I used to get Red Power but due to financial reasons had to give it up, probably could use Jim's article as I have one J4 that I replaced the coil, points and condensor and it still has no spark but I put the same parts into another J4 and it works great. Atleast I have one spare J4 on the shelf.

I have a 1948 Farmall Cub. It stopped running this spring and I have been trying to get it going all summer. I have tuned it up, taken the mag off, static timed it, but when I turn the mag away from the engine for the second click, it doesn't click. It tries to start, but I think it is still slightly out of time. I noticed the "Tangs" on the mag are somewhat sloppy and the "Slots" in the governor are also sloppy. Should either one of them have any play at all, and if so, how much? I'm about ready to pull my hair out, if I had any. Thanks. I will try anything. I love my little tractor and it serves great purpose here on the farm.
