NEEDED FARMALL CUB CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS 0.060 OVERSIZE

Hi, my name is Tommy and I am restoring a 1951 Farmall Cub and I have just run into a problem on getting new connecting rod bearings oversize 0.060 . If anyone has any suggestions on getting a full set , please let me know where I can get a set of four. I have not been able to get a set from any tractor suppliers and cant find a full set on e-bay. Have you contacted a local automotive machine shop to see if they can order them for you?

Never saw 0.060 under rod bearings. 0.030 was the max from IH. Sounds like you need a used crank with a little more life left in it.

Thanks Don and Bob, I will be contacting my local machine shop and if no luck ,I guess I will be replacing the crankshaft. Thanks to both for your quick response!

Try contacting one of our sponsors or put a want ad in on the Vine. All Cub crankshafts will fit, but numbered Loboys will not be drilled for the pilot bushing, as I recall.

Thanks to everyone that has responded, I contacted my local machine shop on Friday and they said they were pretty sure they could get the bearings. I will let everyone know if they can or can't when they call me back. thanks again!
