Cover for Cub

Postby kjoiner » Sun Sep 13, 2015 7:06 pm

Hello,

I was looking around for a cover for my 49 Cub since one side is exposed to the sun. I found a pretty cheap solution at Walmart. It's made by Budge and is size #2. I removed the muffler to reduce the height and the cover works really well. Attached are a couple of picutre. The cover was around $23.

Wow, Kyle. Nice looking Cub!! Kind of a pain having to remove the muffler though.

Problem with the tarp like material, is that it holds moisture against the hood. I purchased a cub, a few years ago, that was "protected" by a tarp, for several years. Could see through the lace like hood!

My Cub sat out for several years. A couple of years ago I got a portable shed from Menards that they had on sale. Has been working good so far, and holds a lot more than just the Cub.[img]

Hello,

I was concerned about using a tarp as well since it doesn't breathe. The cover I bought is made for cars and is a breathable fabric. I'm going to pull it off every few days to make sure no critters decide to move in.
