Just make sure it can't roll and use a jack under one side of the front axle.

I see most of these issues are with removing a rear wheel/final drive. Do not see if it is necessary for front wheel removal??

I agree. The single point hinge on the front axle is a liability when working on the rear but I think it would be safer on the front since the body of the tractor would actually stay straighter when just raising one front wheel than it would if it had a conventional axle. Seems the axle would just tilt and the tractor stay pretty straight if only lifting it enough to change a wheel.

When removing a rear wheel or final drive the front axle needs to be wedged, but not until after the wheel is jacked to the working height. Wedging it before jacking puts extra stress on the engine front axle, etc. since it is trying to push that wheel being jacked up back down.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

The lifting arm has a nasty habit of slipping.

Thank you, John. Never thought about it, but that makes a lot of sense!
