NC

Oh, alright.

NC seems a little far to go, tho, even for a Cub!

OH, you mean the other Alan :D

I don't know allen. Kind of sounds like a road trip for us if we can get it cheap. :D I've got the trailer if you have the time. Only thing is we will have to be quick or BIG DOG'S radar will find it.

I'm a little slow. Just figured out how to use the emotions. YEAH. So much for a computer degree.

NC is definitely not too far to go to pick up a cub. Several of us have been known to drive much further than that. Of course, on the plus side, some of the best cubs I bought were within 3 miles of home.

Gas

Postby allenlook » Wed Aug 10, 2005 12:19 pm

I think with the cost of gasoline, driving from Upstate NY to NC and back, towing a trailer and Cub would double the cost of the tractor

Guys! Check out the large photo of this puppy at the site listed below, as it runs, and is used regularly(so he says). Also, the owner works at a gun shop, so BEWARE! You should see all the stuff on his property. Some working, some not. The family has been here since before civilization! The cows roam inbetween rusting farm implements. Right now, he is welding one of the skids from my Cub mower.

You can tell it's been used (or moved) ... the moss on the weights is on the top!

Hey Alan...Don't ever be shy about gettin' outta your car or truck to ask about a tractor that's parked within view! This one's been parked a good long while (from the ruts and the mowed around grass growin' up around the tires!

You NEVER KNOW when the person answerin' your knock on the door is gonna turn out to be a nice tractor-widow who's gonna say "Sure sonny, just haul it outta here...Oh, and take all those darn attachment things in the barn too...I think they go with it"!
