This is how I cleaned my tank from tar and rust…..I asked ol buddy Ed what he thought and he said he used laquer thinner to clean Carbs etc…So I used that as part of the process….You can read the entire thing on the you tube link….Any questions just ask….Anyone who peeked in the tank at the Cub tug knows it was pretty "gunky", course I knew this, cause Dusty B filled me in on the whole thing before I bought it…He's a fine guy to do business with and I made a new forum Friend….Hope this helps someone….The setting up of the mixer was not without a few oops moments but it worked great after I got the balance thing set... …Oh yeah I also used a handful of 1/4 x20 nuts….

I'm a BIG fan of POR-15's gas tank sealer kit, if you have any tendency towards that.
