Did one of our members win the 1950 IH Dealer (Demonstrator) ad proposal that was posted on Ebay ? I had bid in the hopes I could share the information it contained on the Demonstrator tractors. One scanned page stated: Color scheme for CUB Demo: White tractor with red wheels and fitted with metal tear drop on hood top and gold feature stars. (Only those tractors sold for canvassing/demonstrating purposes would be painted white. Balance of Louisville---------page not scanned. It might have proved how rare the WHITE ones really are. I hope we can find out.

I don't know anything about the ad proposal you're talking about but , if the white painted cubs are rare go to craigslist - Illinois- chambana . there is a guy or guys who have 3 for sale . One has a plow with it , one a sickle bar mower and another with a cultivator . Picture shows another with a front blade but isn't listed for sale. Depending on where you live , could be a good deal $1400 each and it says they're demos.

I doubt $1,400.00 would come close to snagging one of those.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
