Cutter Bar Support

Postby Ole90633 » Wed Jun 17, 2015 5:49 am

It was a slow day yesterday so I figured I'd do a favor for y'all. Got out my steel rule and #2 pencil, took the Cutter Bar Support off my Cub, cleared the kitchen table and set to work. As "a picture is worth a thousand words" (as well as we love pictures in this forum), here you go:

I've got bigger pictures if you have difficulty reading the print dimensions, just ask :D

Thanks for the drawings. For those of us that don't know how it works could you post a pic of that too?

Here's the thread that I believe inspired the pictures. Scroll down to the bottom of the first page. The conversation and pics regarding the sickle bar stuff starts there.

I'm sure some folks will appreciate your efforts, Don.

:thanx: Clint for linking my picture and drawing to your thread!

I figured a 'stand alone' "Cutter Bar Support" topic might be easier to search... I love how we all work together :{_}:

Yeah, this forum is amazing. I always get so much more than I bargained for when I post a question or comment. I had no idea that support existed. I have a fast hitch and a plow and disc to go with it that I don't currently use but hope to one day. Now I know what I'll need to use it with the mower. Awesome.
