Cub 22 Mower Question
Could someone explain why there are two different sizes of pto pulleys (4 & 4 1/2 inch)listed for the 22 mower ? Also wht two different drag bar supports (long & short drop) ?

Here's how I think it went. The mower originally used the 4 1/2" pulley. When the RPM of the tractors was increased the pulley was changed to 4" in a (failed) effort to keep the mower from shaking the beejeebers out of the tractor. The reduction in pulley size kept the mower speed approximately the same.
