Iam very new at all this but my question is I have a 1952 cub, haven't started her up since Thanksgiving. She started right up today, but notice the needle moved all the way over to the right on the white portion which normally the needle stays straight up on the white. So I shut her down right away. Should I be concerned? is the oil pump moving the oil? any other sign I should see if the pump is working properly Would it haveto be primed and how Or should I not be concerned at all and just let it run Thanks in advance for any info

Re: needle on oil pressure gauge
Up on engine start up, needle moved higher than usual. Normal in cold weather.dblact38 wrote:Or should I not be concerned at all and just let it run.
