tapered spacer
Hello all. I'am in the process of reassembling my final drive axle assembly. My question is about the tapered spacer. I know where it belongs in the assembly, but does the taper, face the bull gear or the bearing ass?

Re: tapered spacer
Taper faces the bearing. If you have shims, they are between the spacer and bearing.

Re: tapered spacer
Great, thank you Raymond. Glad I asked. I was going to put taper toward the bull gear, as there seemed to be a recess in the bull gear for the taper.
