Today when I was taking my governor apart I was removing the governor throttle lever off its shaft, and it broke. It was the short style, I have a parts cub that has a long style.
The one that I broke came off a battery ignition system, the parts cub was a magneto. Will the long lever work in place of the short lever?
Thanks, Craig

Re: Governor Throttle Lever
Craig, The long lever will probably give you more notches on the throttle quadrant when you move it back and forth. Some of the replacement levers came with two holes. You could either use it as is or drill another hole to mimic the one that broke.
