New Saftey Equipment
While tinkering in the shop last night my neighbor walked in and thanked me for keeping him plowed out this winter, in his hands was a red box, he said he wanted me to have this for additional SAFTEY while plowing by the road... a Milwaukee Heated Jacket!
If he only knew how much fun I had doing it! I asked him if he needed his truck washed?
I had to wear it this morning to check it out, turned on Med. at kept me toasty warm
Bruce.

Re: New Saftey Equipment
Very nice gift. I wish they had an 18 volt version since that is what all my tools are. The 12v is okay but it is just another battery to maintain.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: New Saftey Equipment
Well this being my first heated jacket and just trying it out, I'm thinking you wouldn't want too big a battery beings you have to have it zipped up in a side pocket.
Most of my cordless tools are dewalt and the batteries won't fit it either.....but I'll manage.
Clip, is there something you know of the 12 volt? problems? will it make my hair fall out.....oops too late.
Bruce.

Wow!!! I knew they had electric socks but I did not know they have jackets.
Oh well I guess where I live it would be hard to sell them. Cold day is 35 deg.
Good luck and keep up the fine work.

I took that as a joke..being that the cigarette lighter on most cubs is powered by the 6 Volt battery....

Well, that makes sense. I don't know how much difference in physical size there is between the 12 & 18.

Can't find my lighter either
Barnyard, I popped the battery out and took a pic. I'm thinking it's smaller than most? about 3 1/2"x 1 1/2"
It is supposed to last 6 hrs. I assume on low, neighbor gave me an extra battery just in case.

I want one! Do they have an air conditioned one for the hot Midwest summers?

You might substitute an ice vest. Works real "cool" (pun intended). Stan

Yes, I've heard of some high tech ones. I recall Buzz Aldrin wanting one and I saw something about the military working on one too... but I'm a common man and no one is making one for me
