Seat Time!

Postby Tubby Creek Farm » Sun Feb 01, 2015 3:17 pm

After replacing the radiator and fan I have anxiously been waiting for the field to dry out enough to put Rosie though some good hard work. My old fan must have been crap because she now sounds like a small plane when I rev her up.

Makes me want to move some dirt!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Me too! Looks like you're almost ready to plant.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

...while your moving dirt down south, we're still moving snow up north.
Another 8-12" forecast for tonight through Monday evening. Bring it on!

The pictures of you on your Cub in that field are awesome! Snow on the ground here so can't do that right now. My 49' Cub is getting a carb rebuild and the 46' M is in the process of coming back to life after sitting outside for 10 years. I do have my friend Andy's 40' B right now and I had some seat time on it the other day, which I enjoyed. All these tractors are going to be used in the clearing my new property that is next door to me. I have a Woods 59 mower for my Cub, and a 4 bottom plow for my M. I want to get a snow blade for my cub and a set of discs, and I'm on the prow for more Cub's and other Farmalls. I'm waiting for good weather to talk to the people down the road about that Cub they have sitting out there.

At least your not wearing a tee shirt and really rubbing it in. Glad to see your tractor back up and running and moving dirt around. Wish I could be move dirt instead of snow, 5" of fresh stuff and still falling. suppose to get 8/12 on top of the other foot that never melted. Look like I'll be moving winter stuff instead of brown stuff for a while.
