Wood Mower - No Side Discharge Chute???

Postby Tim Martin » Mon Jul 18, 2005 10:50 am

I find it odd that my Woods mower has no side discharge chute. These are about the only photos that I have right now. It cuts grass fine but if it had a chute I am sure that it would even cut better. I do not see any covers or plates that I can unbolt to open up a chute on the deck. Any ideas?

Tim,
My Woods 42 is identical to yours. I just bring up the front and rear shields and it works fine for me.

So all you do is raise the front and rear shields. I will try that tonight and see how that works. Thanks.
