I want to be able to move the soil from the tire tracks toward the center. Some kind of
small scoop where the track sweeps usually go would work great. Since I
am not keen on reinventing the wheel where not neccesary, and would
like to learn from others mistakes but making my own, any experiences
would be great.. Thanks

Re: Any Raised Bed Maker Ideas for a Cub?
There are several ways to do it. What equipment do you have now? If we know what you are starting with, the suggestions may be more practical. Since you speak of track sweeps, I assume you have a Cub-144 cultivator. What working tools do you already have?
By the way, a pair of potato hillers work pretty well. Based on your ZIP code, I suspect you can find a used pair.

You might want to put the potato sweeps on the belly so you can watch what you are hilling or bedding. Or use hilling discs. Do you have the front cultivator set up?

Disk hillers work fairly well. Can be mounted on the front or rear cultivators. Agri Supply has them, rather low priced. Chinese, but I doubt you'll wear them out, making a few raised beds.

Disk hillers would be my first choice. Start out with them sort of close together, maybe a foot apart or so, then move them a little, make another pass, move them out some more, make another pass, etc. until your bed is the width you want.

We have our tire set wide, 44". We use cub hillers on the front set about a foot and a half wide the a second pass out as wide as we can. Bigger hillers on the rear might make a taller bed.. experiment with the hillers might be your cheapest solution

After watching that I wish I had got the larger size. Mine are 12" and it looks like the 16 make a better hill.

Wally, you need 12 inch, for front cultivator mount, on the rears, you can use larger. Adjusting the angle of the disk, can make a substantial difference in soil thrown, too.

Re: Any Raised Bed Maker Ideas for a Cub?
I agree with Ed, How tall of a bed do you need? The 12 inch ones can make a right high bed with the listers mounted in the front. If you make it with the back tool bars you with have a devil of a time cultivating later on [ too wide a bed ].
