Got my Cub 54 blade installed

Postby waterboychuck » Sat Oct 18, 2014 5:39 pm

I finally got my Woods belly mower off and installed the Cub grader blade on my 49. I was able to grade my gravel driveway and it turned out great. After doing all this work I'm starting to realize why a lot of you have several Cubs.

Great looking set-up.

Just so you never try to grade any hard pack gravel... I did when I was a kid and hitting a stone hard actually broke the rear axle housing. Had to get a new one (which wasn't that hard to do in 1969) and Dad used that broken one to learn how to weld cast-iron.

Great looking driveway, too!
