Made a test run today. Mowed the gardens down. They were had grown over. Did along the creek. That was awesome as I thought about saving weed eating time. Then I tried a pretty heavy patch of high grass. I started getting a metallic sound and baled out of there. Pulled it off so I can get the plow on next. Thanks everyone for the good ideas. Maybe I can make a new bar.

If a bar can be cut and welded back together to make it shorter, then what about cutting it and added a length to it?
