Hi Folks, regarding my 1955 french cub, can anyone tell me what thread the bolts and nuts are on Cubs? is it UNC?

I have replaced a distributor clamp bolt and UNC fitted fine but I cannot find out what thread the bolts are that hold the bonnet (hood) to the top of the radiator side brackets - it is a very course thread and not UNC -

Also what thread is in the front end of the crankshaft behind the front pulley please?

Thank you in advance
Regards
Ian D

Don't know the answer for the French Cub.

Hardware stores in the USA have thread gauges hanging in the bolt aisles.
I have an excuse. CRS.
