Gents - did some searching today on the forum and have previously downloaded the some wiring diagrams, but they all seem to relate to magneto ignition. Below is what I am confused on.
1. There are lot of screws on the back of the 4 - position light switch. The Brillman.com instructions aren't really clear what terminal is what.
2. The other oddity is that there is NO Wire in their Kit to go from Voltage Regulator F to Generator Field F - Is this not required for a distributor or did they leave it out of the kit? I have called Brillman - waiting for a call back.

I don't know about Brillman, but when I bought my harness from Porch, that wire was sold separately, because it is a single wire that goes directly from the VR to the generator. You could easily make one yourself.

The four posistion switch is for a generator with a cut-cut instead of a regulator. The posistions were Low Charge, High Charge, Dim, Bright. The three posistion was Off, Dim, Bright.

Re: Wiring Diagram Deals - CUB w/Distributor
There are two different four position switches. There's a L H D B switch ( low high dim bright ) and an O D B R switch ( off dim bright rear ). TM decal page says LHDB was up to mid 1950, there was an ODB ( off dim bright ) from mid 1950 to late 1958, and ODBR was from late 1958 on. Thanks TM!Daniel H. wrote:The four posistion switch is for a generator with a cut-cut instead of a regulator. The posistions were Low Charge, High Charge, Dim, Bright.
