The wiring harness support under the gas tank has finally gave out. What is the best way to add a support, I prefer not to weld.
Thanks

I made one by hand shearing a "T" shaped clip. The top of T was 3" long to give more glueing surface. I glued it to tank with epoxy. Still on there after 5 years or so.

Re: Support for wiring harness
I have seen, (maybe on one of my Cubs) a hole in the front corner of the gas tank flange where it meets with the hood and a bolt through a sheet metal clamp/bracket like the ones that are part of the tank. Now that I think about it maybe that is supposed to be there? A zip tie through the hole and around the wires is functional but won't get past the correct police.

What about getting a U shaped magnet to stick to the bottom of the tank to hold the cable up.

Re: Support for wiring harness
Auto parts store has clips that clamp electrical wires to the trailer frame. Not sure what you want appearance wise, but the clips would fasten to the side of the hood and gas tank.
I have an excuse. CRS.
