Left deluxe seat bracket extra holes?

Postby Bob McCarty » Thu Sep 18, 2014 6:38 pm

Excluding the mounting holes on the top and bottom, there are three more holes. Two that are toward the back, one above the other and about 1/4 ". The third is toward the middle of the bracket, about 1/4 of the way up from the bottom and about 1/2". I don't think any of those should be for a rear light, since they usually mount to the battery box. I'm making a couple brackets and will leave out the holes if they are unneeded. What are they for?

Thanks, Bob

Bob,

At least one of those holes is to mount the flasher that accompanied the light on the long arm attached to the fender. Check the parts book in the 69-70 range.
