Re: French Cubs
Back in England!
I phoned CT Hayton's who 'may' be able to get parts always provided I can provide an IH part number.
Looking back through this forum and the interweb I see NAPA part number 1153 for the oil filter, but does anyone have the IH reference please?
Kind regards,

Re: French Cubs
Common parts cross reference for US made Cubs. There are several oil filters listed. Your local auto parts store should be able to obtain the oil filter.

Re: French Cubs
I'll certainly see what I can get, Eugene.
Now my next issue is reducing picture file sizes on the IPad, I did post a picture of the tractor so must've cracked it, no promoting just yet, but stand by!
Kind regards

Re: French Cubs
This is a winter, rather than an immediate project, and it's to tidy the tractor up certainly more than making it concours.
I just rolled 'her' out of the garage and took some pictures that you may find interesting.
One of the foot throttle.
One of the starter, US made, Delco-Remy
One that looks like an alternator tucked up under the bonnet / hood, which explains the absence on a VR
And one that suggests the wiring loom might be a mix n match (or mismatch)
