Gentlemen Your advice worked and it is running thanks to all. I rotated the wires 180 and fired right up. Not sure how to do proper fix. is it because I didn't have the #1 on compression stroke? Hope so. that seems to be an easy fix. Dave thanks for the welcome. I have inherited 3 more cubs . Now this makes two that are running. So I'm sure I will have more questions. This site is a goldmine of information. thanks again to all

to get the wires in the proper order, remove the mag and turn the drive 1 complete revolution, then reinstall and set time on magneto. Of course then you will have to switch the wires again. it is ok to turn the mag backwards so you don't have to fight the impulse to do this.
