Governor spring sourcing

Postby danovercash » Tue Aug 12, 2014 10:26 pm

Governor spring broke on the Cub last Saturday. Should I buy new (TM) or find an "experienced" one? Leaning with new. Also any tips on installing? Pix on FB.

Dan:

Just get a new one. An experienced one will cost you almost the same by the time you get it ..

Get a new one, you only want to replace it once. It is nearly impossible to install one without shortening at least one end.

Warning.... this is a prime candidate for the 'mushroom theory', easier with the hood off....
