Howard Rotovator Questions
What would be the best way to sell a HR speed reducer - all the parts or sold in the tractor ? Was there any difference in the loboy and regular Cub HR ?

Re: Howard Rotovator Questions
the speed reducer was the same for both standard cub and low boy. Unless you happen on to someone specifically wanting a cub with the gear reducer, it will bring more money if they are separated, though I have known people to buy a cub just to get the gear reducer. Be sure to remove all the parts from the cub if separating. There is a seal plate that holds the oil in the reducer that frequently sticks to the final and is not removed. Without it the reducer is useless. Of course, also the brake extension and the drawbar extension need to be with it.
