hydraulic pump reseal?
I recieved my parts from tm and removed the pump and resealed. When I started to reinstall I noticed that the new orings for the manifold mounting to the pump were smaller than the old ones. They fit into the grooves on the pump tight because they are the right od but there is a gap on the id. It looks like these need to be 1/8 dia orings but appear to be 3/32 dia that came with the kit. I am having trouble finding a 1/8 oring this size and was wondering if anyone had this problem before.

Re: hydraulic pump reseal?
You might call or email Tom at TM. He's very knowledgeable about how parts should fit and will probably tell you that's the way it's designed. I don't remember anyone having a similar problem/concern on the Forum before.

Re: hydraulic pump reseal?
according to the parts manual the o-rings should be 11/16 x 7/8 x3/32. The old o-rings will appear larger, because they swell over time due to be continuously exposed to oil which is frequently pretty warm. They do not need to fit tight in the grooves, they seal from being squeezed between the pump and the hydraulic manifold. So long as they extend a little bit above pump surface you are good.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
you are part of the problem!!!

Thanks John. That's what I needed to hear. I couldn't find the size oring that was required.
