Hitachi alternator installation

I am converting to 12 volts on my 47 cub. I have purchased and installed the Hitachi alternator I have seen recommended on the forum. My problem is knowing which terminal is the L and the S connectors, they are not labeled. Does anyone know which one is which?

Thanks, I see how to wire now. My Alt did not have the labels.
