1952 come with manual lift?

Postby Lowrollerjr » Wed Jul 23, 2014 5:21 pm

Havent been on for a while. I bought a cub about 6 months ago. I thought it was a 48 but I read the Ser. no wrong and the way I read it now it is a 52. The serial no is 148315. My question is did they come with a manual lift in 52? It has hydraulics for the belly and a manual lift in the rear. Getting ready to order parts and want to be sure of the year.
Thanks

Yes, yours is a 1952. Some owners added a rear manual lift to go with their hydraulics. It comes in handy with cultivators when wanting to raise the front before the back is finished going through a row. Rear attached implements could also stay in the raised position when the mower was in use. I'm sure there were other uses as well.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
