Hello:
I have added a new implement to the CUB collection; a Farmall #100 Manure Spreader found just 15 minutes from me. It has some issues; the decorative gear guards are gone, and the bottom boards have all rotted out; and the chains are gone.
Another FUN CUB project !

Re: #100 spreader
Congrats on the #100! Does it appear to be in original condition or repainted at some point? Would like to see some pictures...

Re: #100 spreader
Kevin asked me to post this for him.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: #100 spreader
Looks usable. Also appears to have hit a bump or something to bend the tongue sideways. A little "press" time should fix that. Thanks for posting Barnyard.

Re: #100 spreader
Barnyard:
I think my camera distorted the appearance of the drawbar. It might be bent a little, but not as much as it appears in the photo.
The apron chains got scrapped and the spreader was used for hauling wood. I intend to replace the apron bed and get replacement chains, not sure if I can find the gear guards, but that's not the end of the world. It will need new sheet metal sides as well, but the hard to shape/forum items are in decent shape.
What size flat chain are the apron chains ??????? Length ????? How many bars attach to the apron chains ??????
THANKS !!!! Baldwindiesel

Re: #100 spreader
The bed chain is an "S" link that was only used by IH. The slats are attached with a right and left link. There was an Ag company that sold the whole bed chain, I'll see if I can find that old catalog.

Re: #100 spreader
The kink in the tongue came from someone turning too short, especially w/a load on, and catching it w/the rear tractor tire! (Don't ask how I know that! LOL!!) Dusty B
