Cub Tractor Cab / Roof

Postby Winfield Dave » Sat Jul 19, 2014 5:26 pm

Here is one of my recent projects.
A "cab" so I can plow during a snow storm if I need to.
Made from a golf cart roof and some 1/2" EMT conduit.
Maybe someday I'll get one of those golf cart vinyl covers to slip over top and provide complete enclosure.

NICE! Dave, if you enclose it you could add air conditioning for summer mowing. :D

Nice job Dave. I really like the roll around the steering shaft on that front diagonal brace.

If only the Cubs had a water pump, eh?

If it is straight, it goes under the shaft perfectly...but then you can't lift the cab off.

Need to mount some big ole lights up top! I need to rig a bigger lamp on my SA some how. I always end up doing after dark, night, plowing. And the way the plow arm is up front I have to remove the right lamp.
