On my 59 Lo Boy, the Wagner 45 loader reservoir came with a 3 inch half inch nipple with duct tape on top as the cap. The owners manual shows a breather cap, but the parts list shows it as being a half inch pipe plug. The TC does not have a breather cap. It would make more sense for it to have one that allows air to displace the oil pumped out of the reservoir when the bucket is raised. Does anybody have a part number and source for the proper cap?
Thanks
Wm

Re: Reservoir cap for wagner 45 loader
I would purchase a black iron pipe cap from the local hardware store and manufacture the cap.
Depending on how you want to manufacture the cap, 1, 2 or 3 drillings. If you use 3 drillings, you can close off the 2 drillings, one at the top of the cap and one on the side, with epoxy such as JB Weld.
Edit. Here is an other thought, coupling with pipe plug.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Yea, just buy a pipe cap and drill a 1/16" or 1/8" hole in it. There isn't anything fancy about them but I agree, you need somewhere for air to vent.
