Helper Step.

Postby Alan Gee » Wed Jul 16, 2014 3:13 pm

I aint no Spring Chicken any more and the tractor I bought has a home made helper step rigged up under the foot deck. It is about as useful as bumps on a bowlingball. Its to far under the deck.
My question is was there a factory step made ? I see tractors with and without a step. I see for sale an after mkt deal that looks like it just hangs on two beefy hooks.
I looked at a few parts lists and did not see a listing for a step. I have a welder and can lash up something but I would like to get a "real step if there is such a thing, any ideas , Thanks.

The step was available from the factory and is listed in the parts manual, although it is mighty short and I don't see how that style helped much.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
