I have done a search on this and looked at the PDF files but cannot be sure so I'm asking you all. I'll be getting a 42 inch woods belly on Monday and I need a PTO pulley for it. From what I have read the pulley needs to be 7.4 inches. Is this right? Also can anyone tell me what the model for my mower. I did upload PDF's for C1 and C2 but they don't seem to match. Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Thank you.
Chuck

Once you get the mower deck, a photo will help identify it.
My question. Why isn't the PTO pulley included?

I have an excuse. CRS.

I have a woods 59-c2 that didn't come with the pulley because it was used on a farmall A and it doesn't have the same size pulley and he used it on his new mower.

Re: Need help with model number for Woods mower
The best that I can do this time is to give you the link to the CL ad. This guy buys and sells belly mowers in MO. My mower is still listed along with other mowers but it's the only 42 that is pictured. Here's the link:

The mower should be here on Monday. Once I get it Ii can take photos.
Thanks, Chuck

Re: Need help with model number for Woods mower
That appears to be a 42C6. Not much difference than a 42C4. Mainly the cover and method of lubricating the over running pulley. if that seller is who I think it is, I have dealt with him and he is not very forth coming about any short comings of the items he is selling.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Re: Need help with model number for Woods mower
His name is Brad G and sells on Ebay. Buying things on CL from that far away is scary but I hoping for the best at this point. At one point he did ask if I needed anything else and I replied that a pulley would be nice as the others in the photos have them but he said that he could not help. I believe that he buys/sells belly mowers as a side job. Thanks John for the information. I assume that there will be some kind of plate with the model # on it once I get it. I was just hoping on going into town to pickup the mower and stop at the Woods mower supplier and picking up the pulley all at once. One thing about that mower is the grease on top. It kept it from rusting. LOL
