Reinstalling the radiator unit to the front end

Postby jwcoop » Mon Jul 07, 2014 10:23 am

It's been a long time since I took my 49 cub apart. When attaching the front end to the radiator/steering assembly, does the longer end of the pivot shaft housing go to the front or the back? Thanks in advance.

Longer pivot on the axle, goes to the rear.

Thanks
That's what I thought but couldn't find anything to verify it.

You need another cub, to compare and verify with!

You're right!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Don't forget the thrust washers on each end.

That would be such a sacrifice, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do...
