Starting handle

Postby UK-Cub » Thu Jul 03, 2014 1:51 am

My 12 volt French built Cub starts on 'the button' every time, but in case it does not I will need to use the starting handle.

The one I have is missing the cross pin / peg.

I could easily make / fix a peg, but is there anything I need to consider before doing so?

Thank you. David :help:

I just repaired one, with a piece of bolt. Just be sure it isn't too long, to fit in the bolster slot, or pulley.

Thanks Ed, yes I'd twigged the problem with excess length, I'll follow it up and give it a try. David :thanx:
