Duplex Planter hopper color?
Hello y'all. I was going to start the restoration of a duplex Planter hopper for my cub. I was just wondering what was the proper color for the cast iron pieces and should the galvanized hopper also be paint or just left plain.

When you start taking it apart look for remnants of original paint. Mine was blue. I expect later ones were red. IMO if the galvanized is in good shape, I wouldn't paint it.
